Log-in to Plesk and click the Mail tab in the left panel. You will see the following page.

Activate the Mail Service

Click the website you wish to create an email address for. You will then see the Mail Settings form.

Change the following value:

  • Activate mail service for this domain - Check box

If you wish, emails to addresses that do not exist can be responded to, forwarded, or rejected. Select the radio button for the desired function. Click OK.

Create an Email Address

You will now be returned to the Email Addresses tab. Click the Create Email Address button.

Enter the following values:

  • Email address - The username that appears before the @ symbol
  • Password - Create a password yourself, or generate a strong one automatically
  • Mailbox - Check box and select Default size.

Click OK.

Open Webmail

You will now be returned to the Email Addresses tab. To open the Webmail panel, click the mail icon displayed on the right next to the email address. The Webmail panel will open in a new window. Enter the email address and password you created. You should see the following.

Configure an email client

If you wish to use a third-party email client such as Outlook or Thunderbird, you may use the configuration below.

IMAP

  • Hostname: mail.gwiddle.co.uk
  • Port: 993
  • Encryption: SSL
  • Username: Email address
  • Password: Email address password

SMTP

SMTP Authentication

Gwiddle's SMTP server requires you to authenticate. When setting up your mail client, ensure that you enable the option "SMTP server requires authentication", or your client's equivalent.
  • Hostname: mail.gwiddle.co.uk
  • Port: 25
  • Encryption: STARTTLS or TLS
  • Username: Email address
  • Password: Email address password
